NNL Omaha Giving Circle
We Meet Monthly
The NNL Giving Circle meets for lunch as well as hands on projects or collections for support of local charities. This is a partial list of activities over the past few seasons.
Recent Activities include:
- Fill backpacks at Food Bank for the Heartland
- Sort Donations at Food Bank for the Heartland
- Sort clothing for Heartland Community Services
- Community 360 Valentine’s Day Project
- Clothing for Open Door Mission & Salvation Army
- Paint rooms at Women’s Center for Advancement
- Fill backpacks for Completely Kids
- Provide a meal for Ronald McDonald House
- Collect children’s books for Mercy Housing
- Provide a meal for Youth Emergency Services
- Assist residents to play BINGO at Immanual Courtyard
- Sew Case for Smiles (pillow cases for kids with cancer)
- Make sandwiches for Open Door Mission
- Provide craft supplies for Santa Monica House
- Collect for Angel Bags for Children's Emergency Fund Project
Ongoing Collections:
- Nebraska Humane Society – egg cartons and empty pill bottles (labels removed)
- Ronald McDonald House – pop tabs
- Youth Emergency Services – toiletries, clothing for teens/young adults
